SFNAZ Happenings

SFNAZ Zoom Paint Night: Saturday: May 16th – 6pm

  • Unfortunately, we will not be able to do our Bob Ross themed paint night, but we are excited to have LIVE instruction from our talented church family member, Karen Snyder. We will be meeting in Zoom with Karen who will give painting instruction. The exciting detail of this painting is that you will be able to choose the scene as well as the color theme for your painting. For more information and the list of supplies you will need, Click Here.
  • Please click here to join the webinar or enter the meeting ID after tapping “Join a Meeting” in the Zoom app 87604075122.

Please Note Women’s Coffee & Chat (Postponed for now. Stay tuned for when this will resume.)

Reflecting God Devotionals

  • The “Reflecting God” devotional books for the summer months have arrived. If you would like one mailed to you, please contact the church office (office@sfnaz.org or 509-467-8986).

SFNAZ Call Team

  • We now have a SFNAZ Call Team to call and check on the members of the congregation on a weekly basis during this time of social distancing. If you have any prayer requests or needs, they will collect that information and report it back to the church staff. A big THANK YOU to those who are volunteering their time to make these calls.

RAISE THE ROOF 2020
  • Thank you for your support of the church roof replacement project!  The entire amount has been pledged, and we have received enough cash to begin the project.  The final updated bid went up about 3% from September.  It includes 50 year shingle warranty and 15 year workmanship warranty.  Because we have lost more shingles over the winter, there is the increased potential for leaks, and our roofing contractor believes we can proceed under an emergency building protection exemption.  It has been a grueling task for the roofing crew, as the steepness of the sanctuary roof is a challenge. We anticipate completion soon!

For mobile users, you can download the Zoom app. Desktop users can click on the Zoom Meeting Link and follow the instructions. Phone numbers are also provided for each meeting for those who would rather place a phone call to access the meeting. MISSIONS CORNER

May Emphasis – Missionary Health Care

The cost of providing health insurance for Nazarene missionaries is approximately $1.9 million per year, and the costs continue to rise. The Church of the Nazarene wants its missionaries to be able to serve and not worry about this expense. NMI has helped subsidize some of these funds since as early as 1919. Through your giving to the Memorial Roll, Distinguished Service Award, Gifts from the Heart, and Missionary Health Care plate offerings, you help offset approximately 23 percent of those insurance costs. The remaining 77 percent of the insurance costs is provided by the World Evangelism Fund. Through your giving, the whole church helps provide for the medical needs of Nazarene missionaries. Thank you!
