SFNAZ ANNOUNCEMENTS

NEW SERMON SERIES ~ Sunday, January 7th – 10:45am

Pastor Wes will begin his new sermon series “The Blessed Life”.

TITHING ENVELOPES

Individual boxes of tithing envelopes are no longer available.  The new tithing envelopes are available in the pew racks and at the information counter.  If you are in need of additional envelopes, please contact the church office.  Thank you for your continued support by the giving of your tithes and offerings.

LIFE GROUPS

Life groups are starting again!  There may be some new groups looking for members, so be sure to watch church center to see which group God is leading you to join.

Presented by the Spokane First Nazarene Theatre Organ Society. Come sing some of your favorite hymns. Free admission. All are welcome.

SUNDAY SCHEDULE

  • Nursery (Infant through 3 non-potty-trained years old)
  • PreK – 5th Learning and Growth

10:45am

  • Nursery-Toddlers (Infant through 3 non-potty-trained years old)
  • PreK- Kindergarten Childrens Church (3-year-old potty trained through kindergarten)
  • 1st-5th grade Childrens Church– dismissed after children’s sermon in sanctuary.

Wednesday ~ 6:30pm – 7:45pm

  • Nursery:Infant through 3 non-potty trained
  • Pre K: If’s, And’s & But’s

UPCOMING EVENTS:

  • Teen Sledding Party at the Morrisons – 2:00pm. Sign up by January 19th

 

Join us for some snow and sledding at the Morrison’s! Wear appropriate outdoor gear and bring your own sled.  If you need a ride, please meet at the church at 1:15. Sledding starts at 2:00.  We will return to the church by 5:00.  Please register so we can plan rides. ATTENTION 6-12 GRADERS join us every week up the in the Youth Loft for:

WED ~ Youth Group 6:30 – 8pm

Start with games in gym, then separate into MS and HS small groups

SUN ~   Learning and Growth MS and HS classes 9:30am

Morning Worship in sanctuary 10:45am

 

WORSHIP MINISTRY UPDATES

Worship Team

  • If you have an interest in being a part of the Sunday morning worship team, reach out to David Dixon. We are always interested in exploring how different people’s musical gifts fit into our weekly worship rhythms.

Audio/Visual Media Team

  • Are you a techie or creative person, or both? We are always looking to train additional people in how to run our sound system and live streaming system. Or are you interested in helping us create video content to use online or during services let’s talk!

MISSIONS CORNER

SFNaz Missions Team will be promoting Crisis Care Kits on January 21st

Crisis Care Kits are a cooperative effort between Nazarene Compassionate Ministries and Nazarene Missions International.  Crisis Care Kits continue to meet the needs around the world during disasters. The kits have gone to places like Belize, California,

Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Jordon, Philippines, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, and Zambia. As disasters continue to occur the need is greater than ever. Please consider participating in this effort.
