Deep Waters

Deep Waters

Isaiah 43:2, NLT

When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.

This scripture can be interpreted in so many different ways. There is so much comfort in each of these words. There is a lot of fear, feeling overwhelmed, lost, and anxiety when thinking of going through deep waters, or walking through a river or fire. In our everyday lives, we are constantly faced with fears, oppression, and change. It might be something that’s new and the fear of failure is there. Might be something that you know the consequences will be life-altering. But we always know that God is there to carry us through. It might not seem easy in the moment but when we look back we will always be stronger by trusting in Christ and having Him there to walk with us through these times. I Hope you can find the encouragement you need through this verse. It is a great one to write out and place where you can read often.

Have a great weekend,

Jordan
