Recently I was on greyhound to visit my friend in Monroe!  On the way home I had the same bus driver and his son riding along.  The son is about 15ish. In Acts chapters 8 and 9 you find two stories that speak to me about faith, obedience, and transformation. The first one is found in Acts 8, verses 26 through 40, the story of Philip and the eunuch. To help me in this devotional I had to get my mom’s Bible out. It’s never too far away. This Bible was given to my mom in 1952. I have 2 pictures in the Bible. Both pictures are Black and white. I have been stuck in my Bible reading. The longer I am stuck the more questions I have. I have been reading in Jeremiah. He is called the “weeping prophet” because he literally wept over Judah. Jeremiah stays faithful to God through 40 years and 5 kings. The five kings were Josiah, Jehoahaz, Jehoiakim, Jehoiachin, and Zedekiah.
