October is our Crisis Care Kit (CCK) Drive!

We will be passing out Crisis Care Kit bags on October 12th.

Every year, disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes, conflicts, and floods leave people with both immediate and long-term needs. Local churches in these communities are uniquely positioned to walk alongside individuals and families with the hope of Christ while they recover. For many, that journey begins with a Crisis Care Kit.

A CCK is a tangible reminder that even during the hardest of times God’s love is near.

Recent Example: Indonesia Earthquake

On August 17th, as Indonesia celebrated its 80th Independence Day, a 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Poso region of Central Sulawesi.

In response, the Sulawesi District Church of the Nazarene, in collaboration with Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM), extended aid to affected communities. Often, it is NCM who delivers Crisis Care Kits—sharing hope, compassion, and the love of Christ through these practical gifts.

How You Can Help

Each Crisis Care Kit is a gift of care and hope. Packing guides and Ziploc bags with instructions will be available at the kiosk in the Holy Grounds Café.

Thank you for being part of this ministry, for showing God’s love in action, and for participating in both the Crisis Care Kit drive and the Alabaster Offering.

Missions Prayer Focus

Please lift up the following missionaries and ministries in prayer:

  • Tim and Michelle Eby – South Africa
  • Yoan and Astrid Camacaro – Italy
  • Bruce and Cinda McKellips – Portugal
  • Monica Boseff & The Open-Door Foundation – Romania

How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?” — Romans 10:14 (NASB)
