SFNAZ ANNOUNCEMENTS

JOURNEY TO THE CROSS

Our Wednesday night Journey to the Cross event is an amazing interactive experience that will engage all five of your senses as you walk through Jesus’ last days leading up to his execution on the cross.  Families are invited to work through this experience together so they can talk about the experience and parents can help their children do the activity at each station.  *Children and preteens must have adult supervision this night.

 THANK YOU

Vicki Sainsbury would like to thank each and everyone of you who have prayed for her, sent her cards and called to check on her and wish her well.

MISSIONS CORNER

Hello Church, as you know we just had our Alabaster offering on March 16th.   A big “Thank You” to all who participated.   We received $3,131.34!  These funds will be used by our Nazarene Missionaries around the world to build buildings that support the mission of reaching people for Christ.

On March 30th, Pastor Victor Morrison, had an informational and planning meeting regarding two upcoming Work and Witness Missions trips to the Rift Valley District of Kenya.  Thank you to all who participated in person and online.  The first trip, “Bike and a Backpack” team will be July 23rd – August 6, 2026.  This is limited to 15 people.  The second team to Rift Valley will be a more traditional team and unlimited to the number of people that can join. It is scheduled for January 7th – 21st 2027.  If you are interested, you still have time to get your passports in order and your motorcycle endorsement.  For more information, join Victor on his “Rift Valley missions’ trip” Facebook page.

The sewing group Piecegivers put together the cornhole bags for the tournament that was held at the church.  They also have made many fleece hats that were passed out to local schools.  The women are now back to making quilts for NW Connect and Life services.

Would you like to be a part of this Church Outreach and Mission group?  All women are welcome, no matter what skill level.  They meet in the gym on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Upcoming SFNAZ events

NW District Assembly & NMI convention is being held April 9th – 11th at the Spokane Valley Church of the Nazarene.  We anticipate receiving updates from our Missionaries and information about this year’s District missions projects.  Stay tuned for those upcoming notices.

On April 27th, we will be having special guest speakers.  We always enjoy hearing from our Missionaries.  You won’t want to miss hearing how this couple is doing mission work in a unique way!
