November is the Thanksgiving Offering

The Church of the Nazarene Thanksgiving offering is an annual collection of money that

supports the denominations global mission work through the World Evangelism Fund.

(WEF) This fund provides resources for missionary support, church planting, and other

ministries in many world areas, helping to spread the gospel and support local

communities.

The offering is a long-standing tradition, with funds used for a wide range of activities

including missionary salaries, medical care, and Christian literature.

* PURPOSE: The offering directly supports the World Evangelism Fund (WEF), which is

the primary source of funding for Nazarene missions around the world.

* FUNDED MINISTRIES: The WEF enables various ministries, building new churches

and ministry outposts, providing Christian literature, and funding regional and partner

ministries.

* MISSIONARY SUPPORT: A portion of the funds goes toward missionary salaries

and medical care and supporting The Establishment and maintenance of new missionary endeavors.

* GLOBAL REACH: The offering is collected globally and helps the Church of the

Nazarene to continue its mission of ” Making Christ-like Disciples in the Nations “.

* TIMING: The offering is traditionally collected in November, though it is also

promoted through the Easter offering.

THANK YOU!

We are so grateful for your faithful participation in the Crisis Care Kit drive.

Special thanks to our “Piecegivers” for the beautiful quilts gifted to our pastoral staff—

they were warmly received and deeply appreciated!
