Your Missions Team has met and gone over next year’s budget.

FAITH PROMISE

Faith Promise Sunday is coming up on February 16th, so be praying for what Jesus has laid on your heart to pledge and /or continue to pledge.

L I N K S

What is LINKS you ask?  In the beginning “LINKS”, in all caps was an acronym for Loving Interested Nazarenes Knowing and Sharing.  But now with the world Nazarene family it’s been changed to just “links” the word.  All cap acronyms work for English; but gets lost in translation, go figure!

How does links work?

Missionary Assignments:  Missionaries are assigned to districts, and then to local churches.

Church Engagement:  Churches get to know the missionary families assigned to them.

Support:  Churches can send gifts, care packages, and correspondence to their links missionaries.

Birthday cards, Anniversaries, as well as achievements are also part of the support.  When the missionaries are in country, things like presentations, special occasions, family dinners, multi-church receptions can all be planned.

So why the emphasis on links?

Tim and Michelle Eby, missionaries in South Africa are our links missionaries.

In addition, our church has been given the privilege of adding another links missionary family!!

So let us welcome Yoan and Astrid Camacaro.  The Camacaro’s are serving in Italy.  You can encourage them with an email at acamacaro@eurasiaregion.org.  We will get more information to you as we receive it.

Our church contact person for our links missionaries Is Bobbie Johanningmeier.
