Missions emphasis for August – LINKS  ( Loving, Interested Nazarenes Knowing and Sharing)

Our LINKS Missionaries are Errol and Rhonda Carrim. –  SOUTH AFRICA

Errol and Rhonda serve at Nazarene Theological College South Africa (NTCSA) in Johannesburg where Rhonda is principal and Errol focuses on leadership development.

Errol grew up in Trinidad and became a Christian at age 18. Following God’s call to vocational ministry, he earned a Diploma in Theology at Caribbean Nazarene Theological College (CNTC, now Caribbean Nazarene College). With assistance from the Sidney Knox Scholarship, Errol completed a BA in Religion and an MA in Pastoral Counseling at Eastern Nazarene College. He then earned a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological College (NTS) in Kansas City.

Rhonda was born and raised in Emmett, Idaho and earned a BA from Northwest Nazarene College (now University), an MDiv in Missiology from NTS, and a Doctor of Ministry (Spiritual Formation) from Asbury Theological Seminary.  From earliest memory, Rhonda felt God’s call to serve in missions.

Errol & Rhonda met at NTS and were married shortly after graduating (1990). They served for ten years in Trinidad, as co-pastors, and as faculty and administrators at CNTC. They then moved to Manchester, England, where Rhonda pursued post-graduate studies. Both served as adjuncts at NTC Manchester, and Rhonda pastored the Didsbury, Manchester, Church of the Nazarene for two years. Their daughter, Kimberly (Aug. 29), was born in Manchester.

Rhonda served as faculty in the School of Theology and Christian Ministries at Northwest Nazarene University for over 14 years. Errol is a Professional Certified Leadership Coach and an Enhanced Conversational Intelligence Coach. From 2013–2018, Errol & Rhonda led the Ethnic Leadership Development Initiative under the auspices of Multicultural Ministries, USA/Canada.

Errol & Rhonda are passionate about training, developing, equipping and supporting Christian leaders in general and clergy leaders in particular.

Kimberly enjoys drama/theater, playing the violin and creating digital music. The Carrims enjoy camping and fishing together as a family.
